Tragicaly taken from us on December 5th 2006.
Aged 40 Years
Nail technician
Lived in Dunsdale near Guisbrough.
Formerly of Warrenby,Redcar and Loftus and Florida in the USA.
Paula was the youngest of a family of 7.
Paula leaves 3 brothers,3 sisters and her Father, she is now reunited with our Mother.
10 months after coming back into our lives after living abroad, Paula passed away as the result of a
fatal accident.
So many broken hearts Paula.You will be loved and missed forever.
Our dad is still alive at the grand age of 86.Sadly our mother passed away in 1992,this affected Paula very badly.Paula got married in September 1995 and moved to Florida to live. After a while paula trained to be a nail technician and eventualy got her own business.Sadly her marriage ended and she reluctantly returned to England in February 2006 to be with family.
At this stage Paula was in a lot of emotional pain, she was suffering from deep depression and turned to drink to ease her pain.After all she had left her husband,her home,friends, her business,her whole way of life as she had known it.
Paula was actualy diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder.
Paula found a house to rent in Dunsdale and decided this was where she would settle,she said no one was ever going to get her to leave this house,she wasn't moving again.This was where she was staying! Unfortunately Paula had a bad car accident in May in which she suffered 3 broken vertibrae.Paula was in a neck brace for some time and suffered terrible neck and back pain. After a spell in hospital and some recouperation Paula went back to live in her house. Things were looking up. Paula was having counselling.and was determined to get her life back on track, she had even stopped drinking. In september Paula met a new man and started to go out and enjoy life again.A trip to visit our 2 sisters and their families in Canada was planned and booked for December 15th. Paula was going to spend christmas with them.Sadly Paula didn't make it to Canada.On December 5th my brother and I went to Paulas house and she was at the bottom of her stairs. Apparently she had had a drink the night before and had fallen down the stairs.It was an old house and the stairs were very, very steep.So much so that every one who saw the house commented on how bad they were. ..Just as it seemed things were getting better for her, she was very cruelly snatched away from us.. I believe Paula was too beautiful to ever grow old, but was taken in her prime. Gone too soon.
